Born in Odessa
I was born in Odessa, Ukraine — a port city on the Black Sea. A city of traders, sailors, and entrepreneurs. Perhaps it was inevitable that I would spend my life moving between countries, industries, and ideas.
The Maritime Academy
I studied at the Odessa Maritime Academy, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Navigation. I began preparing my documents to go to sea — but while I was waiting, something else caught my attention. At 19, I made my first sale. The sea could wait.
First Steps in Business
I started selling power tools. Small volumes, big lessons. I learned how to find suppliers, how to negotiate, how to build trust with buyers. Every mistake was a master class. By 21, I was ready for something bigger.
Building a Wholesale Business in Odessa
I built a wholesale headwear business in Odessa that ran for eight years. I wasn't selling other people's hats — I was creating my own models, working directly with Turkish factories, and building a brand that was genuinely unique in the Ukrainian market. Those eight years taught me everything: production, quality control, logistics, buyer psychology, and the power of a personal relationship with a manufacturer. Turkey became my second university.
Adrian
My son Adrian was born — named after Adriano Celentano, the Italian legend whose music I've loved my whole life. The moment he arrived, my priorities shifted. I didn't want to raise him in uncertainty. I wanted to give him a world. And I knew exactly where that world would be.
Leaving Odessa. Moving to Istanbul.
I closed my business in Odessa and moved to Istanbul. Not as a tourist. Not as an investor. As someone who had been working with this country for years and decided it was time to actually live here. Turkey became home. Adrian grew up here, learned here, made his first friends here. Istanbul gave us both something we couldn't have found anywhere else.
Five Years of Exploration
I tried different directions. I explored industries, visited factories, and worked close to production. I didn't rush. After eight years of running a company in Odessa, I didn't need to prove anything. I needed to find the right idea — not just a business, but a mission. Something worth building for the long term.
CryptoCharm — The First Brand
I've always believed in creating rather than reselling. But I knew that launching an unknown brand is brutally hard. You need an association — something that carries the brand forward before the brand can carry itself. I was watching the world of cryptocurrency and blockchain culture grow — and I saw an opportunity. I created the first product: crypto-themed socks. The response was immediate. CryptoCharm evolved into something bigger — a full lifestyle brand spanning apparel, streetwear, accessories, and cosmetics. Where blockchain culture meets Istanbul's manufacturing excellence.
Trade Istanbul Hub Is Born
On March 15, 2025 — and then formally on April 15, 2025 — Trade Istanbul Group LLC was founded. I had a partner. We worked together, understood the scale of what we were building, and realized this was a long-term project requiring complete alignment of vision. We parted ways professionally. I kept building. I traveled to exhibitions across Turkey. I visited factories in Istanbul, Bursa, Kayseri, Izmir. I met manufacturers with extraordinary products and almost no international presence. I found companies like Kombucha22 — a remarkable business led by an exceptional founder, producing something world-class with barely any export reach. These experiences confirmed everything: Turkey is full of hidden champions. They just need someone to open the door to the world.
Trade Istanbul Hub LLC — Fully Mine
Trade Istanbul Group was reorganized. Trade Istanbul Hub LLC was registered in Florida, USA — owned entirely by me. The name changed because the company changed. It grew into 21 categories. It developed a methodology. It built infrastructure. It became a hub — not just a trading operation. And now, for the first time, it is completely mine. Every decision. Every partnership. Every guaranteed shipment.
Phase Two — Ukraine
Trade Istanbul Hub was built to serve Turkish manufacturers first. That remains the priority.
But Phase Two has always been part of the plan. I am Ukrainian. I love Ukraine. Ukrainian manufacturers produce at extraordinary quality levels — they simply lack the export infrastructure their products deserve. When the time comes, Trade Istanbul Hub will open its platform to Ukrainian producers, using the same systems and the same personal guarantee.
